  First time eating at this location. I like this place, the food is tasty. Where is the ketchup? Fries with no ketchup is like not eating fries.

  What To Order: Teriyaki Burger or Original Californian with Fried Zucchini
  
  When I visit Carls Jr, my favorite items are the Teriyaki Burger which comes topped with red onion, pineapple and a sweet teriyaki sauce. Recently I started ordering the Original Californian which is a lot like a big mac, except that it includes tomato. The Teriyaki Burger offers a sweeter taste, while the Californian is more of a traditional burger flavor.
  
  I always substitute my fries for the fried zucchini which are pretty good here, but make sure to get the house sauce with them, which is a ranch buttermilk dipping sauce. I can eat these all alone as they are pretty addicting.
  
  I don't really have a lot to say about Carls Jr, other than that Im glad they have started surfacing again in south Texas. Service is usually pretty quick, food temperature seems to vary however from trip to trip, which is my only complaint. The menu offers a nice variety of burgers for a drive thru restaurant, which is what keeps me returning. Its a great place to grab an out of the ordinary burger without having to dine in.
